Review

This is the second Ekichika (station underground) commercial facility built by Tokyo Metro following the Ekichika Omotesando opened in December, 2005. Ikebukuro is the crossroads of eight rail lines including JR and subways and handles 2.71 million commuters per day on average. Thus many shops provide take out menus, such as the takeout only branch shop of the famous 'Umegaoka Sushi no Midori' shop where lines always form at their main restaurant in Umegaoka, Tokyo. Further, 16 of the 40 shops have opened their first shop in Ikebukuro.
