The famed Midori sushi restaurant first opened in Umegaoka in 1963, after which it has continued to expand, now operating branches all over Tokyo. This standing-only incarnation serves up extra-fresh, satisfyingly sized Tsukiji sushi at affordable prices, with nigiri starting from as low as ¥50. Make sure to try the anago ippon-nigiri, a ball of rice with a whole eel draped over it.
