Review

It's easy to miss this boutique, housed on the second floor of an apartment building just off Harajuku's famous Cat Street. Mikiri Hassin – which is run by renowned stylist Souta Yamaguchi – moved to its current location from Shimokitazawa in 2009, and has since become an essential stop for in-the-know Harajuku fashionistas. The selection is unfailingly cutting-edge, showcasing high-concept clothing by up-and-coming Japanese designers alongside select secondhand items from overseas.
