Review

The popularisation of devices like 3D printers and laser cutters have brought digital fabrication or 'fabbing' to the forefront, as anyone with the right motivation and creativity is now able to make stuff formerly manufactured only on an industrial scale. For an introduction to this fast-rising trend, there's no place better than Shibuya's FabCafe, a comfy café that lets customers try their hand at laser cutting, designing and the like while sipping on a cute marshmallow latte (pictured above) or some herbal tea. They also hold regular events like workshops and demonstrations, further spreading the gospel of fabrication to the people. And they have free Wi-Fi, which is, well, pretty fab.
