Review

Billing itself as Japan’s first authentic Russian restaurant, Rogovski has been serving up pirozhki buns and pastry-topped stews for over six decades now. The March 2015 closing of Shibuya's Tokyu Plaza forced the venerable eatery to shut its doors, but Tokyo's borsch beasts need not despair: Rogovski is making a comeback in September, opening on the seventh floor of Ginza's yet to be completed Exitmelsa building, just off the main crossing.
