Japanese wines have increasingly come to be accepted internationally in recent years, and the quality has also shown clear improvement as a whole. Nagano, while not having the name-recognition of areas like Hokkaido and Yamanashi, boasts a considerable amount of competent wineries, a fact that this event intends to drive home. Visitors can of course engage in tasting, and also have the opportunity to meet winemakers and learn about their production methods while enjoying regional specialty snacks.
