Jon Cleary Solo

He's so steeped in the music of New Orleans, you could almost forget that Jon Cleary hails from the decidedly un-funky climes of Kent, England. The in-demand keyboardist and singer heads back to Yokohama's Thumbs Up, where he kicked off his trio tour in May – but he'll be playing solo this time around. Expect to hear the full gamut of New Orleans styles, from boogie woogie to rhumba to funk, plus excursions into Cuban, Argentinian and other Latin climes. Pre-advance tickets go on sale via Buffalo Records from June 29, advance tickets from July 13.
