Soul singer Laura Mvula's debut album, Sing to the Moon, has seen her hailed as the Nina Simone of her generation in the UK – and for once, the hype actually feels justified. With the album getting a belated release here earlier in the month, the supremely talented Brummie songstress heads to Billboard Live for her debut Japan shows.
