Time Out says
While he's best remembered for his pivotal role in '70s French prog act Heldon, Richard Pinhas' boundary-breaking work with guitar and electronics has made him something of an icon in avant-rock circles. Any self-respecting fan of experimental music should make an effort to catch this all-star lineup at SuperDeluxe, where Pinhas shares a stage with frequent collaborator Merzbow, idiosyncratic psychedelic voyager Keiji Haino and Magma-loving drum colossus Tatsuya Yoshida.
