Time Out says
He's so steeped in the music of New Orleans, you could almost forget that Jon Cleary hails from the decidedly un-funky climes of Kent, England. The in-demand keyboardist and singer heads to Japan for a short tour in support of last year's Occapella album, in which he tackled the songs of bayou R&B figurehead Allen Toussaint. Catch him and his trio again at Club Quattro on May 20.
