Grind Buddha Vol. 2

Sat Feb 16, 2013 Komyoji Temple

Time Out says

It may seem odd to recommend a gig for the venue rather than the music, but that's before you've experienced a show at Kamiyacho's Komyoji Temple. Perhaps Tokyo's most unusual concert venue, this hallowed space lends itself to music that rewards careful listening – which means that hushed electro-acoustic duo Té (aka saxophonist Andrew Brooks and laptop whizz Kynan Tan) should get along rather nicely. They're joined by ambient guitarists Aoki Hayato & Haruka Nakamura and Undora, a vocal ensemble led by Saya from Tenniscoats. Email info@fly-sound.com for reservations.
