Morgan's Organ

Time Out says

Morgan Fisher – one-time member of Mott the Hoople, full-time member of the avant garde – has been a Tokyo resident for the best part of three decades. For the past eight years, he's also been a dependable fixture at SuperDeluxe, where he's shown up every month to prop up an analogue synth or three at his Morgan's Organ gigs. The venue staff aren't overstating things when they describe this as 'one of the longest-running solo concert series ever', but like all good things, it'll be coming to an end – specifically, with the 100th edition in March. If you haven't experienced Fisher's trippy improvisations, you've got precisely three more chances to do so (though he'll still be active elsewhere on the Tokyo music scene, natch). As an added incentive, the gig is free if you book by 6pm on Wednesday – see www.morganfisher.com for details.
