Everybody loves a free party, right? When techno bigwigs Takkyu Ishino and Tasaka held their first Black Out event as part of Liquidroom's 7th anniversary celebrations last summer, it was such a success that it's since become a regular fixture. The latest edition drafts in the ever-reliable DJ Nobu in the main room, while an array of hip hop, house and bass fiends trade blows in the upstairs Liquid Loft, among them Compuma, Luvraw & BTB and Moodman. Be sure to check out the latest exhibition at Kata, too, showcasing work by graphic designer Daijiro Ohara, illustrator Noritake and musical polymath Shuta Hasunuma.
