Octave One

Time Out says

Lawrence and Leonard Burden may be the sole constants in Octave One, but this long-running production unit has roped in all five of the Burden brothers at some point since debuting in 1990 with the still-iconic 'I Believe'. Last year, the Detroit techno survivors invited some of their favourite producers to muck in on a retrospective album, the self-released Revisited (Here, There, and Beyond), which boasted impressive work from Sandwell District and Japan's own Ken Ishii. Too bad that Ishii won't be there when the duo play live at Ageha this weekend, but his buddy Takkyu Ishino should be able to pick up the slack. Also keep an eye out for French house producer Seuil, who's playing in the poolside Island area.
