Minneapolis math-rock veterans Self-Evident headline on both days of this weekend guitar fest. Summer Meeting 2012 collects nearly 20 acts spanning the length of the country – from Okinawa (Unripe) to Asahikawa, Hokkaido (TG.Atlas) – alongside Taiwanese quartet Human Beings. Post-hardcore and post-rock feature heavily in the musical diet on both days, and it's worth turning up early to catch superior local acts Balloons (Saturday) and Heaven in Her Arms (Sunday). See the website for a complete timetable.
