The Manfreds

Fri Jun 1 - Sun Jun 3, 2012 Fever

Time Out says

Band reunions can get complicated when the person who gave the group its name doesn't want to take part. Such was the dilemma faced by the members of '60s R&B band Manfred Mann, who reconvened in 1991 without their eponymous keyboard player – hence their choice of name, The Manfreds. Original vocalist Paul Jones and his successor, Mike d'Abo, are both on board for this British Invasion revival, which also includes founder members Mike Hug and Tom McGuinness. They'll be playing at Fever on Friday and Sunday, with a gig at Garden sandwiched in between on Saturday night.
