Hard-swinging Philly pianist Orrin Evans kicks off his latest Japan tour with a date at Shinjuku's venerable Pit Inn, playing in a trio with bassist Ben Wolfe and drummer Obed Calvaire. He'll be back again the following week for a show at Body & Soul, on Saturday 17.
