Oddarrang
Steinar Raknes

Time Out says

Two of Scandinavia's premier contemporary jazz groups are joining forces for three nights of miscellaneous musical action at Pit Inn. Finnish experimentalists Oddarrang, led by drummer Olavi Louhivuori, will be mixing things up with prolific bassist Steinar Raknes and his group, who combine Norwegian folk music with Latin American sounds. The first night sees Louhivuori accompany the Steinar Raknes Quartet for an opening set before each band performs individually, while on the second they're joined by violinist Keisuke Ohta and cellist Hiromichi Sakamoto. Sunday's gig kicks off with duos between Ohta and drummer Yoshiyuki Ichiraku, and pianist Masaki Hayashi and drummer Tappy Iwase, followed by a solo improvisation by Raknes and a climactic set from Oddarrang.
