Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Mon Jan 16 - Tue Jan 17, 2012 Tokyo Dome City Hall

Time Out says

While Liam motored ahead with Beady Eye, Noel Gallagher took a little longer to launch his next project after the messy demise of Oasis in 2009. When he finally released the first High Flying Birds album this October, it turned out to be exactly what people had expected: solidly written songs, solidly performed, but not a whole lot more. Though it rocketed straight to #1 in the UK, the most interesting thing about Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds was the album that its creator has promised will come next: a collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous, the psych-rock alias of electronic act The Future Sound of London. Maybe that's when Noel's solo career will stop sounding like an extension of Oasis, but if it's Oasis you're after, these shows should more than do the trick.
