Time Out says

Note: Foo Fighters have cancelled their entire Asia tour, after Dave Grohl was advised by his doctor to give his vocal cords a rest.

Formed as a solo project by Dave Grohl in 1994, Foo Fighters have long outlasted their musical polymath founder's old band. In a nice bit of circularity, the 20th anniversary year of Nirvana's Nevermind also saw Foo Fighters team up with that album's producer, Butch Vig, to produce their seventh record. Wasting Light was billed as a back-to-roots affair, and it's certainly the heaviest thing the group have made to date, though its stadium-sized bombast drew a mixed response. Whatever: it should be more than enough to fill the vast Yokohama Arena.
