One of the surprise highlights of Fuji Rock Festival was this ragtag bunch of Tokyo musicians, whose ferociously energetic set on the Naeba Shokudo stage supplied a welcome antidote to Coldplay's more pedestrian headlining slot half an hour earlier. Asakusa Jinta's blend of klezmer, punk, rockabilly and Japanese street music has few equals, and you can expect the crowd to respond in kind at this release party for new album Yamiyo de Dance.
