Wildbirds & Peacedrums

Time Out says

Fresh from their appearance at Fuji Rock Festival – where they played on the petite Naeba Shokudo stage as well as participating in the brilliant, chaotic spectacle that was Congotronics vs Rockers – the Swedish husband-and-wife duo hit SuperDeluxe with fellow Congotronics alum Skeletons (a.k.a. Matt Mehlan) in support. It's tough to peg Wildbirds & Peacedrums – the PR blurbs settle for descriptions like 'indie-jazz', but this fails to do justice to the group's risky experiments, which often involve little but Andreas Werliin's inventive drumming and Mariam Wallentin's awesome vocal talents.
