Love Me and Miso Soup

Fri Aug 28 - Sun Aug 30, 2015 Rocket

Time Out says

Move over, kakigori: the next pop-up craze to hit Harajuku is rather more basic, but no less traditionally Japanese. Open for three days during the last weekend of August, this miso soup stand is run by 'pioneers of third-wave miso soup culture' and serves up a special variety of the healthy concoction: kelp-based konbu soup is mixed with fish flake 'drip' and fine miso for a refined, almost artisanal treat. Shimokita's Kaiso (on August 30) and Sasazuka's Bakery Sasa (August 29) will be offering bread to go with the main dish, while you can also look forward to miso soup-related art exhibits.
