A frequent visitor to Tokyo over the past few years, this Brazilian singer-songwriter combines traditional tunes with jazz and prog elements, employing a wide range of instruments to create genre-crossing, certifiably fresh music. 2013's Sukiyaki Meets the World saw Loureiro team up with domestic jazz greats like drummer Yasuhiro Yoshigaki and bassist Masato Suzuki for a show that was probably the highlight of that festival, earning him instant fame on these shores. This gig at WWW sees him aim for a repeat, inviting the two above-mentioned musicians plus guitarist Kazuma Fujimoto to join the action. Should be a cracker.
