It's not often you see a Japanese indie band at a British pub. It's also not often you get to see a band that's well-known on the Summer Sonic scene for free. This gig gives you both, featuring Japanese band Metro Ongen who have developed a distinctly British sound despite sticking to Japanese lyrics. They are joined by The Watanabes who play regularly at What the Dickens and will be celebrating their 10th anniversary on the night.
