Guitarist-singer and producer Arto Lindsay has made a three-decade-plus career out of confounding expectations, whether with his skronked-out No Wave trio, DNA, or with his mellifluous Brazilian-pop solo releases. Blending tropicalia with samba and bossa nova rhythms and electronics-driven grooves, while singing in both English and Portuguese, he'll be showing off his new 'Restless Sambas' project over two nights at Blue Note. Keigo Oyamada aka Cornelius joins the fray on the first evening, while Tokyo's own Jim O'Rourke appears on Day Two.
