Established by film historian John Kobal, the Kobal Collection is a photo library focused on the film industry, particularly its American variant. Following its Audrey Hepburn exhibition earlier in spring, Kyobashi's multi-use Tokyo Institute of Photography now displays portrait highlights from this massive stack of pictures, including head shots of James Dean, Gary Cooper, Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo and Grace Kelly. Sure makes for a nice nostalgia trip.
