Time Out says

Known for manipulating surfaces and materials in order to create visually challenging, semi-abstract art intended to question how we view physical objects in the digital age, Kyoto-based artist and academic Kohei Nawa now takes over Yanaka's Scai with his latest installation, 'Force'. Focusing on how liquid interacts with gravity, the piece consists of synthetic materials frozen into sculpture-like forms, allowing the viewer to come up with his or her own interpretations regarding the meaning – somewhat like a high-tech version of the Rorschach test.
