Norwegian singer Erlend Øye – known for his work with Kings Of Convenience, The Whitest Boy Alive and Röyksopp – lands in Tokyo for a March show backed by his trusty Rainbows band. His latest solo album, last year's Legao, was inspired by his having moved to Sicily in 2012, so there'll be some hazy, breezy Mediterranean strumming (and Italian lyrics) to accompany Øye's successful mixture of funky basslines and breathy vocals. This is the kind of music that goes perfectly with a bottle of fine wine.
