Celebrating a decade in the business, this gargantuan art show will once again be taking over an entire exhibition hall at Tokyo International Forum. With around 130 galleries due to participate, Art Fair Tokyo is an excellent (if perhaps overwhelming) introduction to the Japanese contemporary art scene, while also featuring a clutch of international galleries. This year's edition even promises a foray into style, as Tokyo Fashion Week will be contributing an official booth.
Also, as part of the associated AMIT media arts festival, the Marunouchi Building will host a project called the Human-Sized Synthesizer – see details here.
