Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Nighttime Organ Concert

Thu Oct 16, 2014 Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall

Time Out says

Shake up your routines and catch an organ recital on your way home from work or school. The seventh instalment of a series celebrating the charms of pipe organ music, this one will see performances by a variety of soloists and has the potential to soothe both the mind and the body. The play of Takeshi Kondo, who’s performed with many of the country’s leading orchestras and plies his daily trade at the Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall, should be a particular highlight. This time, he’ll be playing the captivating work of early 20th-century French organist and composer Louis Vierne.
