Time Out says

The Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates its twentieth anniversary in March 2015, and to mark the occasion, this impressive Kiyosumi centre will hold a three-part special exhibition on art drawn from the museum's own collection. This first part highlights the year 1995, as the museum's opening year marked a critical juncture in contemporary Japanese history: the Great Hanshin Earthquake and the Aum Shinrikyo terrorist attack on the Tokyo subway both took place just as the country marked 50 years since the end of World War II. This was also a time of significant social upheaval, as the results from the bubble economy's collapse were felt at full force and new cultural currents were gathering speed. Divided into two sections, the exhibit presents both an artistic look at the year 1995 and a featured section on young artists who began their activities after that year.
