Mission 'Space x Art': Beyond Cosmologies

Sat Jun 7 - Sun Aug 31, 2014 Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo

Time Out says

It’s hardly news that the universe can be stunningly beautiful: deep-space telescopes regularly produce eye-popping displays of colour depicting galaxies far, far away. This display, however, looks at space from a more explicitly artistic viewpoint, introducing visitors to everything from rocket and satellite parts to depictions of the final frontier in entertainment like literature, manga and anime. Installations and video works on the universe, art, science and self-expression will inspire you to see the world in a different way.
