Review

The British pub concept gets pushed to breaking point at this basement location in Shibuya. Beers on tap include near-misses Guinness and Kilkenny, while contrarians can opt for Heineken or Kirin, and the menu is mostly heavily Japanized re-imaginings of Western staples. On the plus side, Rooney 2008 stays open far later than other, more legitimately Western-style pubs in the area, making it a good place to head if you're looking to watch late-night sports matches.
