The first store in the world to be operated directly by U.S. furniture manufacturer Herman Miller – opening in Marunouchi on Saturday December 11, 2010 – the Herman Miller Store plans to offer a range of different products: from ergonomically designed office furniture (including a Classic Line based on the timeless designs of various American designers, such as Charles and Ray Eames, and George Nelson), to lighting, stationary and even a range of fragrances. Additionally, the store will include a special Try a Chair area (to help customers find the right work chair to match his or her physique) and a library for customers to peruse books related to the company and its products.
