Review

An extremely comfortable bar near Shimo-Kitazawa station run by charismatic Brit expat Paul Davies. Comfy sofas, a Joe Orton-style approach to interior design, a crowd of friendly regulars and a complete absence of food mark this place out. Heaven’s Door also hosts a monthly alternative politics salon with English-language films.
