Review

Matsuzakaya is a classic Japanese department store with a long history. Ito Gofukuten, the predecessor to the modern-day Matsuzakaya, was opened in 1611 by Sukemichi Ranmaru Ito – one of Oda Nobunaga’s retainers. The present-day Matsuzakaya offers a diverse shopping experience, from cosmetics and brand fashions to gourmet food, as well as containing other top-class facilities, such as its art gallery.
