Review

This shop first found a dedicated following over in Europe, with the French, Greeks and Dutch all going crazy for vintage wear and gear sold by the kg, but Tokyoites have also learned to love The Kilo Shop. Opened in spring 2014 on Komazawa-dori under the Toyoko line tracks in Meguro between Yutenji and Gakugei-Daigaku stations, the store receives a new batch of merchandise from the company's giant warehouses every day, which means you'll always be able to dig up unique finds. The only caveat is that 'digging' here should be taken rather literally – the piles of clothes and antique stuff can be difficult to navigate at first.
