Akatombo was first established in 1950 on Ginza's Namiki-dori. Though the original shop has closed its doors, their sandwiches can still be found on the basement floor of the Takashimaya department store in Nihonbashi. The palm-sized goodies (from ¥324) are beautifully arranged in their display case.
