Review

The closest you can get in Tokyo to an upscale British-style Indian curry house, Ghungroo is divided into two rooms, the inner chamber being the more inviting. The menu contains few surprises, but the chicken dishes and okra curry are especially good. As with most Indian cooking in Japan, the rice is Japanese-style short grain – best to stick with the naan, fresh from the tandoor.
