Review

Alain Ducasse’s second Tokyo restaurant presents a fine example of his inventive take on Mediterranean bistro cuisine. Benoit is relaxed and informal, but everything runs like precision clockwork. To sample the food and atmosphere, drop in during the afternoon for a salad or a bowl of the delectable soupe de poisson. It’s also worth keeping an eye out for the special monthly Wine Days, when all bottles are discounted.
