Review

When you're looking for an unusual gift, this Hiroo boutique dedicated to the work of Showa-era illustrator Junichi Nakahara usually delivers. An influential figure in the post-war fashion world, Nakahara is now recognised as one of the godfathers of the shojo manga genre, and his pictures of sharply attired ladies lend themselves as well to t-shirts as to stationery, brooches and book covers. There's also a range of prints on offer, while the small selection of blouses and tops is ideal for anyone hoping to give themselves a retro makeover.
