Jimbocho: Alcazar Jimbocho

Alcazar serves steaks and hamburgs, and its particular specialty is the charcoal grilled hamburg served rare. It arrives sizzling on a hot plate, cut in two, and lightly grilled on the outside. If you want your hamburg particularly rare, just let the staff know when you order. Served with rice or bread, it costs around 1500 yen, depending on the size. The restaurant is on the basement floor of a building close to the A7 exit of Jimbocho Station, on Suzuran Street (Suzuran-dori). It’s also very close to the gyoza shop Suito Pozu, which has great set meals, like the chicken nankai set.
