Eiichiro Sakata ‘Enoshima’ (1999)

Time Out says

Renowned portrait photographer Eiichiro Sakata spent 16 years snapping Enoshima, the seaside destination of choice for many Tokyoites. As beach season gets under way, he’s giving the photos their first public showing: images that manage to evoke the carefree existence of Japanese youth without actually showing any people.
