Deft disco selector and self-described ‘personality DJ’, Harvey Bassett is always a welcome presence here in Tokyo. Last year was a productive one for DJ Harvey, as he opened for Kraftwerk during their eight-night residency at New York's MoMA, released the Japan-only XMIX 01 compilation, and garnered universal praise when he contributed the 300th installment to Resident Advisor's influential podcast series. But he's still best heard in a club setting, and this Womb date is likely to be a good one. Kenji Takimi supports.
