Time Out says

14 years on from her first solo exhibition at the Hara Museum, Exquisite Pain, media-straddling French artist Sophie Calle returns with a two-part meditation on sight and beauty. While the photographs and text in The Last Image (2010) are culled from interviews with people who have lost their sight, Voir la mer (2011) documents the expressions of others as they glimpse the sea for the first time.
