Countdown Japan 12/13

The end-of-year counterpart to Rockin' On magazine's Rock in Japan festival offers most of the same bands in an indoor setting, complete with an all-night party on New Year's Eve itself. There'll be well over 100 acts playing across four stages over the course of the event, with a separate DJ area for those who'd rather be dancing. The lineup offers few surprises (the presence of Scott & Rivers – Scott Murphy and Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo's Japanese-language duo – being a lone exception), but that never stops it from selling out well in advance.
