Time Out says

M-Flo producer Taku Takahashi threw down the gauntlet a few months ago, taking to Twitter to declare 'Fuck J-pop in 2012. Sorry guys, this is what I have been saying since 2002.' On Square One, the duo's first album in five years, they offer an alternative to Arashi and AKB48 that's more attuned to current global pop memes, whether that means electro house, dubstep bass lines or rap refrains that even LMFAO might consider a bit irritating. M-Flo certainly aren't sparing any expense with this kick-off date for their four-date national tour in support of the album, and have promised a host of special guests that may or may not include recent collaborators like Akihiro Namba and 2NE1.
