Time Out says
Record art may be endangered, but it ain't dead yet. Public/Image.3D's second exhibition of musically inspired masterpieces invites some forty artists to pick the best LP cover, CD jacket or flyer design they made during 2011 and recreate (or, presumably, duplicate) it in 12" format. The winner will be decided based on votes by the viewing public, with companies including Beams T also dangling special prizes of their own.
Note: The Music Illustration Awards 2011 show has been extended for an extra week, and will now finish on March 18 rather than March 11, as first advertised
