Univers Zero

Sat Feb 11 - Sun Feb 12, 2012 Star Pine’s Café

Time Out says

If you were to describe Univers Zero's music as difficult, they'd probably take it as a compliment. 35 years after they released their eponymous debut album (later retitled 1313), this Belgian ensemble still sound like no-one else in their audacious fusion of King Crimson-esque proginess and 20th century chamber music. Their first ever Japan shows feature original members Daniel Denis (drums) and Michel Berckmans (bassoon, English horn, oboe) plus some younger recruits, with support on the Saturday night from local avant-prog act Korekyojin.
